As CREA's data lead, Hubert is responsible for designing and implementing CREA’s data strategy while quenching analysts’ ever-growing thirst for data. Rafi is a seasoned sustainability and impact strategist. Prior to launching Skymore3, Rafi acted as Global Lead for a team of Sustainability Business Advisors at AWS.

Before Amazon, Rafi worked at Deloitte as the Global Lead for Sustainability Services in the Technology, Media, and Telco sectors. Rafi advises a range of impact-oriented organizations on strategy and growth, including the Earthshot Prize, Impact Investing Institute, and JW3.

Usman is an individual whose fascination with machines replicating nature's wonders led to a deep interest in robotics. His journey began with a playful curiosity for understanding device mechanisms, which later evolved into a dedication to mechatronics in college.

Currently, as a hardware engineer, he contributes to the design, development, and maintenance of a low-cost, remote-sensing sensor network using IoT, all while engaging in independent AI and robotics projects.

Will Fernandez is the Global Client Lead for WPP Team Amazon, where he oversees the strategic growth of Amazon's marketing and promotional initiatives across the globe in partnership with some of the world's leading creative, media, and comms agencies.

Since joining WPP in 2018, Will has focused on building effective teams and operating models for agency and client teams alike, working across commerce, creativity, data, and technology. His work can be seen across a number of the agency’s top and growing engagements, including Audible, Amazon Workforce Staffing, Amazon Launchpad, Amazon Fresh, Prime Video, Buy with Prime, and Amazon Ads.

Sanjeev Pulapaka is a principal solutions architect in the US federal civilian team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). He works closely with customers in building and architecting mission-critical solutions.

Sanjeev has extensive experience in leading, architecting, and implementing high-impact technology solutions that address diverse business needs in multiple sectors, including commercial, federal, and state and local governments. He has an undergraduate degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.

Mike has spent the past decade in atmospheric science and air quality research, capacity building, and engagement. He has worked all over the world with numerous different stakeholders - from the US to the EU to South Asia and even Antarctica.

For the past three years, he has focused on increasing air quality monitoring capacity in Africa through the non-profit AfriqAir and its current main project, the Air Quality Sensor Evaluation and Training Centre for West Africa (Afri-SET).

Mike is an expert in air quality and atmospheric monitoring instrumentation and has a large amount of experience with machine learning, modeling, and satellite data applications to air quality and atmospheric science.

I'm an experienced leader with a strong background in program management and business development support for SME growth.

I'm passionate about fostering sustainability, food security, and climate change innovation. My work centers on driving results for climate-smart businesses and creating positive change.

He has been working in the IT market for over 10 years. He gained experience by implementing automation and AI projects in many industries, such as telecommunications, insurance, and banking, in over 20 countries on 3 continents. Speaker at conferences such as BPM Summit, ML Data Science Summit, or Kozminski University in Warsaw.

He graduated from both the technical field of Electronics and Information Technology: Informatics in Medicine and Business at Clark University of Massachusetts. This year, he also completed the Master of Computer Vision research program at the Computer Vision Center in Barcelona. On a daily basis, I carry out projects in the field of Artificial Intelligence.

Chris Stoner is the Open Environmental Data Lead for the AWS Open Data team. Before joining the AWS Open Data Team, Chris was the Lead Product Manager on the AWS Ground Station team, developing “antennas as a service“ for Space customers. Chris also worked as a contractor to NASA at the Alaska Satellite Facility (ASF) Distributed Active Archive Center (DAAC) in Fairbanks, Alaska, developing architectures for Sentinel-1 and NISAR missions in the cloud.

Ms. Stoner has an MBA from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst, with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from the University of Massachusetts - Lowell. Chris is a published author of technical journal articles and holds several patents.

Aditya Mahalana joined the ICCT in February 2020 as a research consultant based in Jakarta, Indonesia. He is now also a co-cluster coordinator for the EV Batteries and Cost Parity cluster.

His work includes electrification strategy development in Indonesia, fuel efficiency in Vietnam, soot-free work for ASEAN, and remote sensing testing in Jakarta. His work also encompasses vehicle taxation structure in Indonesia and other transport and environment projects for ASEAN.

I am working as a senior lecturer at the Department of Earth Sciences & Environment at the National University of Malaysia (UKM). I have garnered many research grants, including various innovation and research grants. I have published more than 40 publications, including refereed journals, chapters in books, and proceedings.

Currently, I am working with my team on a Low-cost environmental sensor (LAQS) based on the Internet of Things (IoT) platform known as AiRSYNSC. The AiRSYNSC can conduct real-time continuous air and water quality levels at various locations. In 2023, I was selected as the recipient of ‘Fulbright Exchange Scholar’ at the University of Utah (UU) under the supervision of Assoc. Prof Dr Kerry Kelly from The Department of Chemical Engineering.

I am a DevOps Engineer having hands-on experience of 13+ years in DevOps, AWS Cloud/Terraform/Shell/python scripting/Ansible/Git/SVN/Jenkins pipeline as a code/CI/CD for serverless framework.

Boudewijn works for sustainable cities, providing solutions for clean water and clean air. His experience has shown him that all cities struggle with the same problems, and sustainable cities are the only way towards a better future.

Boudewijn and his wife Aysha wanted to do something against the air pollution in Dhaka. Together they started Smart Air Bangladesh in 2019. As a social enterprise, Smart Air Bangladesh sells affordable air purifiers and provides free information and workshops on how to protect yourself from air pollution.

Boudewijn has a 2-year-old daughter, Aylah, who inspires him to do better every day, and motivates him to keep fighting for a better future.

I work as a data scientist at the Centre for Research and Clean Air (CREA) focusing on satellite data of air pollutants.

My background is in atmospheric science, and I have worked with a variety of topics related to remote sensing, atmospheric chemistry and air pollution.
